Internationally, Health Equity Matters leads the development of effective policy and programmatic responses to HIV at the global level, particularly in the Indo-Pacific.
Vision and mission
Health Equity Matters is driven by its vision of ending HIV transmission and a full, healthy life for its communities in Australia and across the Indo-Pacific. It also supports its members in fully realising their ambitions for communities.
Health Equity Matters' purpose is to end health inequity for its communities, with HIV the core of its mission until the epidemic is over for everyone.
How Health Equity Matters can help
Health Equity Matters provides a voice for communities affected by HIV and leads the national conversation on HIV.
Through advocacy, policy and health promotion, Health Equity Matters champions awareness, understanding and proactivity around HIV and STI prevention, education, support and research.
